Fussell Florist is located in Front Royal, VA and has a rich history within its community, having opened its doors in 1948. The shop came to us for updated branding and brand strategy to define their aesthetic and goals. Our work consisted of an in depth discovery phase to understand the history of the shop, the local audience and current messaging. We then worked with owner, Katie Bonnet, to understand their goals for the coming years including expansion of their audience to DC brides wanting a mountain venue and local vendors.
While wanting to bring new life to the branding, we wanted to honor the history of the shop through the style of illustration, colors and layout. We created a brand style guide, illustration, two variations of the logo and social media plan.
